Our Amenities
At Care Cottages our amenities are beautiful. We are discreetly located in residential neighborhoods. Our elegant and comfortable homes are perfect for families who want to avoid placing a parent into an institutionalized hospital setting and for those elders who want to their care needs to be looked after with individualized attention. Our homes provide a homey atmosphere that is non-existent in larger institutions.
Most of the very spacious 8 bedrooms has its own cable T.V. hook up and phone jack along with large closet space. Additionally, most of the rooms are jointly connected to a restroom. Residents are invited to bring their own bedroom furniture to add that personal touch to their living space. If furniture is required we may have some available for you.
Care Cottages also has plenty of common space which encourages our elders to socialize when they want to or enjoy quiet time in their own rooms if they prefer.
Our Residences Are Secure
Community residences are built according to commercial building code standards. The homes are equipped with interconnected smoke detectors, fire rated construction materials and a full sprinkler system. A detailed Fire Safety Plan is also in place to ensure maximum resident safety.
Our Homes are Licensed Facilities
Each of our supportive living residences are Licensed through the Province of Alberta. They meet all requirements of the professional housing association of supportive living requirements for Seniors and are frequently and regularly inspected by authorities. Each home is thoroughly examined by the Chief Fire Inspector, Health Care Inspector and Alberta Licensing commissioners.
